If you’ve ever cooked with pork sausage, you already know! Impossible™ Sausage Meat From Plants cooks like its animal counterpart, and it can be used in all your favorite sausage recipes, from omelets to pastas (and everything in between).
Can’t decide between a scramble and a breakfast sandwich? Why not both? Impossible Sausage can be cooked into scrumptious crumbles and perfect patties alike.
Here are a few pointers for cooking with Impossible™ Ground Sausage Meat From Plants:
Crumbles:
- 1. Open the packaging by cutting off one or both ends using scissors or a knife.
- 2. Preheat your skillet to MEDIUM.
- 3. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, breaking the Impossible Sausage into pieces with a spatula while it cooks.
Patties:
- 1. Open the packaging by cutting off one or both ends using scissors or a knife.
- 2. Form into ½ inch thick patties.
- 3. Preheat your skillet to MEDIUM.
- 4. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side to your preferred level of doneness.
For the pre-formed frozen patties, we recommend cooking them on the stove, but they’ll also taste great when cooked in the microwave or an air fryer.
Stove:
- 1. Preheat a nonstick skillet to MEDIUM HIGH.
- 2. Place 2 frozen sausage patties on the skillet and cover.
- 3. Cook 2 minutes per side for approximately 4 minutes total or until hot.
Microwave:
- 1. Arrange 2 frozen sausage patties on a microwave-safe plate.
- 2. Heat the patties on HIGH for 1:30 to 2 minutes.
Air Fryer:
- 1. Place 2 frozen sausage patties on an air fryer tray and close the cover.
- 2. Heat the patties at 400°F for 6 minutes.
