We’ll let you in on a little secret: Impossible Beef shrinks less than conventional ground beef. This means you should be able to use just one 340g (12oz) package in any recipe that calls for 450g (1 lb) of ground beef and be pleasantly surprised by the yield.
If you’re used to browning ground beef in a pan and needing to drain moisture or fat, you’ll quickly notice that it’s not necessary with Impossible Beef.
