Our products are made by mixing carefully selected ingredients derived from plants or by fermentation to create something unique and delicious.
Impossible Foods’ mission is to use the key components of meat (protein, fat, and flavor) more efficiently and sustainably than animals can. For example: we make heme, the molecule that gives meat its craveable flavor, via fermentation of genetically engineered yeast. Then we combine it with our primary ingredients: water, soy protein concentrate, sunflower oil, and coconut oil. The remaining ingredients are vitamins, minerals, binders, and flavors.
