We’ll let you in on a little secret: the Impossible Burger shrinks less than conventional ground beef. This means you should be able to use just one 12 oz (¾ pound) package in any recipe that calls for 16 oz (1lb) of ground beef and be pleasantly surprised by the yield.
If you’re used to browning ground beef in a pan and needing to drain moisture or fat, you’ll quickly notice that it’s not necessary with the Impossible Burger.
